On behalf of the staff and Governors, I would like to welcome you to Handcross Primary School.

Our website aims to tell you a little about life at Handcross, how we work and what we feel is important to us as a whole school community.

Children at Handcross Primary School thrive in a nurturing environment where our pupils are safe, happy and enjoy school. We aim to promote life-long learning through a rich and exciting curriculum, with many first-hand experiences. We have a child-centred approach, the learning is purposeful and conducive to high achievement.

The staff team at Handcross Primary School are dedicated, passionate about their work and totally committed to creating opportunities for children to shine within our school. We believe that every child is special and that because children only have one chance, they deserve the best possible education. We take pride in our in-depth knowledge of each child and we build the confidence of each individual so that they thrive and are able to achieve their absolute best. We have very high expectations of our children and are proud of the provision we make for both higher achieving children and those who require additional support. We also provide a full range of extra-curricular activities and we have good quality wrap-around care.
